I just don't see the Vic thing...every time I've seen him play he just looks really lost offensively...

really? (on Vic) ...I know he's a freak of an athlete...it seems when he catches the ball his body just isn't in a bball stance ready to do something. I know that sounds weird, not that it means jack but I've coached some HS ball...

He just looks awkward with the ball...if that makes sense.

What are you seeing? a genuine question

There was a lot of threats and bannings given out to people posting negative stuff about Capel too.

I agree. It was apparent that he missed playing organized hoops his senior year. I did see elite athleticism, aggressiveness and desire to get the ball, and surprisingly nice touch when he got his shot off (solid free throws and shooting form). He has a long way to go but I think he will make some serious gains YoY. Also we have had really crummy post play since we had spangs/lattin so again it isn’t a high bar.

He’s raw but will hardly be asked to take people off the dribble. He needs footwork refinement & a good rip move & he’ll be fine. He’s a freak athletically & plays extremely hard & physical. He’s already able to guard the 3 front court positions, and I believe he’ll be able to switch onto almost anybody by the time he’s a junior. He also has a good looking shot & dunks everything. I don’t think he’ll ever average more than 10-12 ppg, but will be one of the better defenders & rebounders one the conference.

I was thinking more true just post guys. Vic (not sure) won't be hitting 3's like manek and Doo. I'd honestly say Manek was in post due to necessity vs desire. ..just my 2 cents. ( he did the best he could against the bigger guys..)
