it was an awesome piece on him....if ya can watch it, do.

He was an amazing guy, my age.

I was breed a Sooner fan from day 1, but in the early 80's I had no vision of actually being able to attend OU...it was kstate for a yr and half then local small school in Wichita (mom got a clerk job and I could go for free...)

With that said, I remember going to Ahearn, the old ball place at ksu my freshman yr to watch OU and Tisdale...

His smile was infectious....died way too young...

I attended a fusion concert where Stanley Clarke was on bass, Wayman's idol. After the concert Wayman made his way to the stage to say hello to Stanley. I was standing on my seat and Wayman was standing the left of me in the aisle. I said to him "there's a pickup game out back, do you want a part of it" and his reply was to wave both his hands while saying noooooooooooooo, and, of course, he had the patented Tisdale smile on.
