On February 6th, 2018 OU was 16-7, and 6-5 in the Big 12.

On February 6th, 2019 OU is 15-8, and 3-7 in the Big 12.

Remember, the wheels totally fell off at the end of last year. But last years team was in BETTER position than this years team is heading down the stretch.

Uh oh.

So we are one game worse this season, going purely on record and without considering SOS. Completely went in tank from that point on last year, but still made it with room to spare. Shows how silly it is to think there is little to no chance we'll make it this year. Again, just gotta win games, and the sooner the better.

Maybe the wheels didn't fall off last year, and maybe not this year. Maybe the wheels just isn't as good as we all thought after a few miles down the road.

Hmmmm, I looked at it a little differently. The team had 6 conference wins already by this time last year. This year, the team has 3. The overall record is comparable but the conference record is significantly worse.

Last year, the OU team finished with 18 wins (18-14), which included two losses in the post-season.

I am hopeful that OU can get to 18 wins this year. Today's home game against Texas Tech is critical.
