Why did Vitale say OU has never had a POY?

He used to annoy me, but I've learned to just accept him for what he is. It's easier and more enjoyable that way. Think of it this way...at least Bill Walton never does any of our games.

Yeah, same here. If we had led the entire game then he would have been talking about OU and Buddy the entire game, but we trailed from the opening bell. That's Dick's schtick, he always talks up the winning team, or Duke.

Once we took the lead then it was all about OU and Buddy.
