Is a bad mammajamma! That midrange J was delicious and that dish that Spangs botched was excellent!

Partially his fault that it was a turnover. You need a sure pass in that situation. Was trying to be too fancy in that spot and didn't communicate well with Spangler.

I can't believe how good he's been this year. I keep waiting or his 3 ball to cool off and the dude just continues to drop in the treys! Love it!

Bogus. That was a perfect play and pass. Spangler assumed Woodard was going to shoot and didn't even look for a pass (he was wide open for a layup).

I was really down on Jordan after last year's early slump - amazing how good he's become playing the 2.

Woodard played great. If teams are going to pressure the 3 point line, we have to get more movement and better passing. Lattin Spangler Manyang need to cut to the hoop and then clear out.

I watched Kansas they pass good and score with seemingly little effort / energy.
We go one on one and expend a lot of energy. Buddy and Cousins are in incredible condition.

Nope. Asking a big man to catch a pass like that from that distance and that velocity down low is too much. I agree that Spangler could have made the catch (because he is very talented) but it was not a good pass.

If he was wide open for a layup (and I disagree that he was) then the pass should have been higher and softer.

I am not faulting either player. They both made good efforts.

We did move better in the 2nd. Scored 50 points in a half and really didn't get a ton of transition baskets in the 2nd half.

Right on. It's a situational thing. Close game you need a sure higher pass there. Not really faulting anyone completely. Spangs coulda caught it too. But it was a both ends deal.

Sorry, I just went back and watched it and it wasn't low (hit the area of his numbers) and he was a free to the hoop as Niang left Spangler to cut off the drive. Woodward was approximately 10 feet from Spangler when he passed him the ball.

I don't post a lot but I read and enjoy a lot of what I do read but I believe I remember the name Zepp on an OU football board at one time and he was just as unwittingly negative as the one in this thread.

I thought Woodard played a steady, efficient game. He might have the most "court smarts" of any player on OU's team. I'll take 12 points, 7 assists, 2 steals, but only 1 turnover any time with better than 50% from the field.

That's the same guy, but not the same poster on this board. NickZepp is a good poster who left that side of him behind long ago.

Nope. If it were some fancy pass maybe.. spangs was wide open..

If it's akolda manyang.. then yes. Spangs has to make that catch

I watched it again just now and agree that it was not exactly how I saw it live. The issue was that Spangler was just starting to cut to the basket when the pass was thrown (and it was a bullet). Spangler was looking for something on his way to the basket. Not anyone's fault there - just unfortunate.
