WVU beats KU...

Gosh it's almost a freaking tease...absolutely sucks...the only thing I can even think about is can we still pull it off? Just a share? I look at KUs schedule and they could lose one more before us...will it be easy? No. Will we win out until we play them? Probably not. But my gosh what a tease...
 
Can only blame ourselves. Beat a below average KSU team even once and it's much more than a tease. Sweep them like we should've we'd be in the drivers seat.
 
I don't ever see Kansas losing a home game. Their only road game left besides us is @kansas state, I don't see them losing that either but it's not impossible. Even if they did lose that one, we would have to win out just to tie. I just don't see it happening either way. I would say Iowa state might pull it off since they only have 4 losses, but they still have 4 road games left. I'm sure there will be a slip up in there.

Nah we have as good a chance as ISU...ISU is done playing KU. So they have to hope they lose another jus like we do. Then it all comes down to us playing KU. I doubt it'll happen...but sure would be nice.
 
anyone else surprised they rushed the court? A top 25 team should never rush the court

I wouldn't say we have as good of a chance. Iowa state is a game closer than we are. If Kansas were to lose another game and lose to us, that just means Iowa state wins outright if they don't lose anymore. Plus Iowa state still gets us on their home court.
 
ISU has road issues. I say we are in better shape than them (as it currently stands). KU is obviously still firmly in the driver's seat. Those KSU games are killers. We just need to win and keep the pressure on both KU and ISU.

I guess what I mean is if KU loses another one we control our own destiny....ISU would not.
 
I mean why are we worrying about if we can get KU or not, we sank that boat with another lose to KSU.

Anyone else worried about staying in front of WVU?

They get 2 games against OSU, they can win both, @ Baylor which can be tough, @ KU, and home against UT. That could be 3-2 or 4-1 with their suffocating D.

We really need to win tonight at home vs UT (we should but we've seen the bad side of this team), get Tech and TCU, but then would need one of @ ISU or home agianst KU to go 3-2 as well.

The tiebreaker after head to head which will be 1-1 against WVU, is record against highest rated team which will be KU, and they will be 1-1, and we could be 0-2 if we beat UT, Tech and TCU then lose to ISU and KU.

Due to that, we currently sit in 4th after last night, since we are 0-1 against KU and WVU is 1-1. KSU really caused a mess in this season

Best case scenario for WV regarding their last 5 games is that they get through that stretch at 2-3. No way in hell they are winning at KU or at Baylor. I also expect no better than a split for them with osu. 1-4 is much more likely than 3-2 for them.

Exactly. Rushing the court is part of what makes college basketball great. If you are too cool to do it, then don't do it but why insult someone else for having fun.

was watching on my phone.

After looking on the computer it is a close three. definitely not four or five. He takes one step after holding the ball to complete the spin and then two more to the basket.

Maybe I've been watching too much nba but you usually don't see the refs counting the end of a spin as a step
