Looking at that, I can see why coach would want to add Allen as an extra guard. We're on injury/suspension/transfer/eligibility issue from basically having one true guard on the bench. That didn't work out too well LK's first season at OU. Just insurance more than anything. Post depth should be fine. 5 guys that can/could contribute. You lose one for any reason, or choose to redshirt McNeace, and you are still two deep at both post spots, same as last year. And post depth wasn't the issue last year.

Hopefully Allen will choose OU. Let's us make a run at one of the really good guards next year (Trier, Shake, Grandstaff) and a post.

That sounds like a good plan to me.

That is a good plan. A better plan would be to get Thomas in, and eligible, too. Most all of the pieces would be in place and we might be looking at a top 10-15 team this coming season.

Yes, that would make a good plan even better. That is the best outcome we could hope for at this time. The dream plan. A very good roster set for next year, and for the future.

Jamuni McNeace has moved up to #14 overall player in the state of texas. Ahead of several 4 stars. Just FYI. Kid can play..

That's very encouraging. If McNeace has as much talent/potential as some believe, maybe he can avoid wearing the redshirt this season?

If we get thomas with imediate eligibility, we might as well red shirt one of the bigs

What is the source for this? Love the info and his potential, just hadn't seen anyone updating rankings after signing day
