My first thought is/was....could they afford Armon? That would make a lot of sense.

They are one of the terrible programs you have to start at in career mode in my 2008 college basketball game. It's the neighborhood public university on the south side of Chicago. According to Wikipedia, they have approximately 2300 students, including 1600 undergrads. It's really a school that has no business in Division I.
They've been kicked out of multiple conferences, but joined the Northeast Conference this year. Prior to this year, they were spending most the season on the road playing buy games as an independent. After the conference move, it went from being the worst job in America to simply a bad job.
It's the unofficial school of the CSNBBS Conference Realignment board. Chicago State's comings and goings generate lots of discussion there due to its uniqueness.
