'25 Coaching Carousel Thread

I’ve been busy and haven’t made any charts, lol. Oops.

1. The ACC used to be such a good league. Definitely down right now.

2. A lot of programs are going to give their HCs another chance due to the change from 100% NIL to revenue sharing + NIL.

3. Personally, I think UNC and/or Syracuse need to hire new HCs. They could do much better.

This should give us a competitive advantage if Joe pulls his head out and fires mid major Moser. The fewer schools make the move, the fewer schools we here to compete with for candidates.

Working on an internal list of schools that would be higher in the pecking order if OU were to open up. I would imagine OU sits somewhere before or after FSU.

1. Indiana
2. Villanova
3. Miami
4. Texas*
5. Virginia
6. Florida State (maybe)
7. UCF*
8. Arizona State*

*not open yet but more likely by the day.

Iowa is another one I am watching.

Edit: Forgot about Virginia

I'll throw this in here. Trilly Donovan's Carousel Breakdown.

I like to do my own thing/come to my own conclusions but I probably won't have time anyway.

Hot Seat/Probably Next Year = self-explanatory....coaches not winning at a clip high enough to warrant extensions, job security, etc....so much depends on buyouts, length of contracts, and now revenue sharing. It's going to be interesting.

Old Guys = retirement watch (forced retirements are often the case).

Jump Street = mid/low major coaches that could jump up a level

Immortal = sort of a running joke about coaches who were on the hot seat for too many years to count...and have now found immortality (job security).

Nice list! Unfortunately, the more I think about it the more I am leaning that Moser may get another year 1741027316184.png
