Really impressive job by our guards today!

It illustrates that if you play good defense and take care of the ball, you can beat anyone anywhere on most nights. For pete's sake, we only shot 40% and under 30% from 3......and still won by 14.:chestram2:

Limiting our turnovers was definitely one of the keys to our win.

It should also be noted that the WVU had 12, most of them the result of the best OU defense we have seen in two weeks or more.

And a lot of them were really poor. So we took even better care of the ball than 9 imo. Excellent handle of their presd

That, and killing them on the boards, we're definitely the keys to the game.

There were a couple by our bigs just throwing it to WVU guys. Guards handled the ball extremely well. Let's do this, why not win out? Kansas could lose two more times, they have some road games left

In all likelihood, the conference race is over. All the teams have 4 games left, and 2 of them are on the road. KU has a 2 game lead over the 2nd place teams. KU plays at Baylor and Texas, but they own the tiebreaker by sweeping OU.

The important thing is for OU to start playing well again, and the WVU game was a good start.

I don't think there is a tiebreaker for regular season champ unless it has changed. My recollection is that if you tie on record you still get a piece of the title. KU has done that about 4 times during their streak. The tiebreaker is only for post season tourney.

It looks like they will probably win it outright anyway.

Exactly. A tie gets us a share of the title but they get the 1 seed in the tournament.

But they have to lose 3 times for us to win the conference?
