Be honest: what were your expectations for this team

Right, but we were sunshine pumping so hard it was giving us hemorrhoids at that point.

I thought we would be a little better than last year. Sneak into the tourney as a 9/10 seed and maybe win our first game this year.

Of course the season is not over so things could turn sour.

I didn't make a prediction but Spengler, Woodard, Neal, Cousins and probably Booker have played better than I expected.

Hornbeak probably not as good.

They are a better team than I expected. And I feel we are better than last year. Didn't expect us to be much better, maybe a little better. I usually don't make the predictions of what the record would be. No good reason. Just don't do it.

I didn't think we would miss M'Baye and Pledger or Fitz that much. The way Kruger pushed the 3 frosh guards last year was a message to me that he needed them to play well because he felt they were needed to get to the level he wanted to reach.

I felt that M'Baye was pretty talented but was disappointed in his shooting ability and his judgment of some of his moves. Really expected him to be a lot better than he was. Pledger was up and down. Fitz would probably have been good off the bench this year as he could provide some quick points.

Bubble team. Really surprised by cousins and Spangler. I thought Spangler would be an 8 and 7 guy and cousins our 6th man, also booker has a much better overall game than I was anticipating. I though Hield would break out and Cam would have a good season. Thought Hornbeak would be better, but hard to fault a guy for injuries unless you're Andrew Bynum. Thought Woodard would be solid but not this good this early. Thought Bennett would play more but happy with his contribution. Also I had written off Neal, glad to be wrong there.
