Who do ya got? And why?

Mine: Jacob Pullen. I think he will be free to put up some monster numbers in Frank's offense and I think the KStatriots will do their part to win and get him enough exposure to win it.

This is a tough one. There are not as many stars in the Big 12 or even college basketball this year IMO as there were last year. Probably because every and their dog went pro for fear of the NBA lockout.

But if I had to pick I'd say LaceDarious Dunn. He shoots a ton and Baylor should have a good year with all the talent they are bringing in and bringing back.

I'll take Dunn. I see him as this years James Anderson.

I am gonna go with Marcus Morris (Kansas).

He averaged 13 and 6 on a team with Cole Aldrich, Sherron Collins, and Xavier Henry. KU will be the best team, he will be the best player on that team, and he will win Big 12 Player of the Year.

My other choices would be Lace Dunn (Baylor), Alec Burks (CU), Jake Pullen (KSU).

I may not have nightmares of Junior Treasure, but I really do have nightmares of our guys trying defend Marcus Morris.

Don't tease me

If Derrick Roland is fully recovered from his gruesome broken leg, he could be a dark horse candidate.

Well thats a fail on my part, I thought he was only a junior last year anyway.

I was going to say Cam, but he and Big Puma may split the vote and Morris will get it. I'm going to go ahead and lock Capel for COY.

I'm going to say this: Pledger will be the "most improved" player in the league and get votes for the POY!

I certainly hope you are right because that will mean big things for this team if Bird elevates his game to that sort of level.

How have his mile times been this year, sharp? I saw him at one of the football pregame events and it is very noticeable that he has worked hard and changed his body. That should really help him on the defensive end and in taking to the rim strong.

Pullen or Dunn. They both will need to put up serious numbers for their teams to be really good.
