BS. The numbers that are reported are tickets sold which isn’t the same as butts in seats. We also have this conversation every year and people just don’t show up to OU basketball games. That’s a fact. If you go to the games or watch the games, you can clearly see there’s an attendance problem. Ignoring it is just fooling yourself.

Attendance has always been a problem at OU basketball games. Even in good years, the attendance is only good for a handful of games.

The big games being Texas, OSU and Kansas with the rest being meh!

True, and seems like a good chunk of people that complain about attendance don't attend either. They blame it on a bad arena, bad atmosphere, lack of fans, etc. Ironic.

So do we report tickets sold while the rest of the country reports butts in seats? I have my doubts.
 
The guy who writes about basketball over at the OU 247 site likes our chances with Bryce.
 
Bryce had to like what he saw tonight. A team that will fight and compete that he can help push to higher levels.
 
Going way back, late 1950s, early 1960s, there were more fans in the
seats for wrestling than basketball.
 
It is what it is. I like how Lon is playing so many neutral courts instead. It may negate our home court shooting percentage a bit, but it makes them learn to play traveling defense much better. I say you spin it to be a boon.

That’s the way it’s been for several years. Now that only one is being reported, I don’t have a clue if it’s tickets sold or actual butts in seats?

Maybe someone with a connection to the athletic department it to LK’s office can ask that question?

Coach/vb/other insiders...do you still feel like it's between us and KU with KU a slight favorite? Are we still trending up?
 
When is he making his decision? Isn’t he signing early?

I don't know if it is.

I don't think OSU has a chance. Too many negatives there. But if he wants shared spotlight with Cade, its possible.

Ou made some good points about the system KU runs in their last pitch. How well does it fit to run hi low over and over.

The decision is made, family knows. that's it.

If I were betting, I'd say KU.
 
Every staff feels like they have him. 2 will be wrong.
