Anyone else disappointed with how OU has handled end of half possessions this year? Time and time again, it has simply Woodward dribbling until there is only 5-6 seconds left and absolutely zero movement. I don't remember the Sooners getting a single quality shot out of any of the possessions this year. Last night, wish Kruger would have called time out and called something because what the Sooners got in that final possession in regulation was awful.

I was disappointed with the possession to end the game.

Same thing happened at the end of the first half in the K-state game. Woodard has to stop waiting until 8 seconds before either trying to get fouled going up or passing it to some dude. We need to at least have the possibility of a tip-in, especially when WE HAVE SPANGLER UNDERNEATH.

Yeah, our last possession in regulation last night was very disappointing.

It was horrible last night and yes our end of half possessions have been a joke all year. IMO teams should take more risk and get moving a little earlier like 12-15 seconds rather than 5. Teams can just double Woodard as soon as he starts moving and we don't have time for a plan B.

I was disappointed too, but you got to remember if you shoot too early you bring losing in regulation into the equation. Waiting until the buzzer ensures you at least get a chance in OT. With that said, I really wish we would have drove to the basket at the end instead of taking a jump shot.

With a solid offensive rebounder in Spangler, no reason not to go earlier. Second shot often wins

I thought under the circumstances, winning in regulation was our best shot. Team was tired from long travel, OT on the road, Spangler with 4 fouls. Take the risk that West Virginia rebounds the ball with 5 or 6 seconds, chances of them getting up a good shot are still slim and your chances of getting fouled or an offensive rebound greatly increase your chance of winning.

I'm not a fan of the "play not to lose" strategy at the end of games, especially on the road, take a chance!

This.

I get not wanting to let the other team score before the half ends. But Woodard is waiting much too long to run the play. The result is often no play at all or a bad try for a goal, with no time left on the clock for a second shot.
