Everything went right for OSU....

i'm going to toss and turn all night long tonight knowing that osujeff doesn't have any sympathy for the sooners.

Just for demonstrative purposes, here is the free throw disparity in OSU's four road games this year so far:

OSU at A&M: +11 for A&M
OSU at Colorado +25 for Colorado
OSU at Baylor +15 for Baylor
OSU at Tech +19 for Tech

That's an average of 17.5 additional free-throw attempts for the home team over four games.

Today, OSU shot 18 more free-throws... right at that average.

I don't know if I'd say "everything" went right for OSU.

We probably had 8-10 wide open 3-point looks and only one fell.

That's how you guys shoot every game... okay maybe you make two instead of just one.

Adjusting to how the officials are calling the game is part of it.

I don't have any sympathy for OU in this game, considering that OSU is last in the conference in opponent free-throw disparity.

In just about every road game we've played this year, the opponent has almost doubled us up in free-throw attempts... that's just life on the road in the Big 12 (unless you're Kansas of course).

It's hard to adjust to the little kid from Deliverance running into a perfectly legitimate hedge and getting FTs out of it.

Consistently ****ty officiating.

:ez-laugh:

The OU pep band should play some dueling banjos when he shoots free throws in Norman.

I'm glad that you agree with us then that OU got ripped off by the officials.

do you have any idea why that is? its b/c osu doesn't penetrate. Just like they didn't penetrate today.

osujeff, you realize you're proving the point with your last post right?

Jeff you sure do gloat in a weird way.

Just for giggles & grins, here is the free throw disparity (attempts) for OU's home and away conference games:

Home:

Texas A&M -5
Texas Tech +8
Colorado +9

Away
Baylor -7
Texas -12
Iowa State +9
OSU -18

Only in the OSU game did any team shoot over 34 free throws and they shot 44.
