Did you expect this team to go undefeated? Some of you give no room for error. I get the past three years, but this is a completely different team for the most part. We weren’t favored at all to win @ bama and I get it, we got blown out, but it can happen in b-ball (look at Tenn). So some of you are basically giving up on this team based off of the result of one game, a home game against a top 10 team who had a dude go off in the 2nd half and hit 6 3’s (he’s a career 26% 3 pt shooter) and several of those were with a hand in his face. I get it, we were up 18 in the 2nd half, but a 18 point lead with 15+ mins to go isn’t at all a done deal. Turnovers killed us amd 4 of those were by a kid who should be a senior in HS. You’re already to give up on that kid for one game? Wow…I simply can’t get there. I hate losing as much as anyone, and we’re all entitled to have an opinion, but you’re not a true Sooner b-ball fan, it’s as simple as that. I haven’t missed a min of a game in 40 years. Last night hurt..it hurt bad. I woke up still thinking about it, but come on! I truly hope our team has more resolve than many of our “fans”.
It’s easy to be a “fan” for a team that always wins.
