are excited to have their own network. lol

:facepalm
Looks like you found a new set of fans to pick on. I hope that works better for you. :D
I can understand why schools with nothing to offer like KU, Baylor and Iowa State were willing to grab their ankles and take it with a smile from Texas. I hope we see a merger in the next couple of years between the Big East and the ACC. :D

Dude you are just making yourself look bad.
You are saying KU, Baylor and Iowa St took it with a smile from Texas. :ez-laugh:
Now that's funny.

All the schools are doubling their revenue... They aren't taking in $25 million, but hey, they don't deserve it.

All the schools win in this situation and thats why all the AD's and Presidents saw this as a better opportunity than joining the Pac-10.

Texas got what they wanted. They needed a BCS conference for their scheme to work. Otherwise, they would have gone independent a long time ago. TU was not going to join the Pac-10 or the Big 10 by itself. Because of geography, they needed the remaining Big 12 schools to stay together for their other sports teams. Now they have 4 years to test and develop their own tv network while maintaining control over the remaining stooges. I can’t imagine Michigan allowing their biggest rival, tOSU to have that much control over them.

We will never know. They get to keep their tradition, and eat it too.
