Interesting find...

I wonder if she's going to do the color for some of the SSN games. I like her work.

Same here! I think she did a couple a few years ago. Debbie Antonelli was color for a season and I think Brenda filled in for someone the year after for a couple of games. I could have dreamed that too! :ez-roll:

Brenda is a class act, that will be a wonderful addition to the broadcasts.

Sorry, I am confused. (yes, a first time experience for me) Which tv channel is this? Haven't had a tv for a couple of years and I think that used to be a more local channel, like channel 12 or 25 on Cox cable. I guess I could go searching and not expose my ignorance but running late. Thanks for any response, people.

When you look at the schedule on SoonerSports.com, it will say which network tthe games are televised on - ESPN etc. Sometimes it's says SSTV for Sooner Sports Network. Billy Tubbs and the San Antonio Silver Stars coach have done color commentary for these games in the past. I think they are usually on Fox but sometimes you have to hunt for them.

The actual text about Brenda reads as follows:

Brenda VanLengen | Analyst
Sooner Basketball

Brenda VanLengen joins the SoonerSports Broadcast crew with 20 years of experience in calling games on ESPN, FOX Sports, CBS College Sports, SEC Network, Big Ten Network and many regional networks. VanLengen is the lead analyst on the Big 12 Conference women’s basketball package and was a two-time Academic All-American basketball player from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in her playing days.

So should we assume her role on SSTV is to be a part of the Big-12 package, or is she more closely attached to SSTV.

How does SSTV relate to the "Big-12 WBB package"?

I think SSTV broadcasts the games that the other networks don't pick up.
