How good is UT this year? They barely squeaked by Fresno State by 2 on their own floor, a team that is predicted to finish 7th in the Mountain West Conference. The Whorns are down by 10 to Chaminade in the second half of the Maui Classic right now. Even if they come back and win that game, it seems to me that UT may have some issues we don't know about.

What's up in Longhorn land? Anyone know?

Update. The Whorns are down by 16 at the under 9 minutes mark.

You may be right, I forgot about him. Still, it's not like UT's cupboard is bare even without Kabongo. Is this a really young team. They're turning the ball over a lot. Last graphic I saw they already have 16 TOs. Also shooting like 2 for 13 from three point range. I'm not impressed at all. Chaminade appears to have more talent.

UT has put too many guys in the NBA early and it is catching up to them causing them to be a very young team. Triston Thomas and Corey Joseph should be Juniors. The only Seniors and Juniors on the team are two former walk on players that were given scholarships. Kabango is a big loss too.

Texas getting out-rebounded 36-30, has turned it over 17 times, and has shot 52% (13-25) from the line. They are 2-15 from three.

69-57 with 3:20 to go.

UT is making a run, now down by 9 with a little over 2 minutes left.

Chaminade has an unfair advantage in recruiting. A kid would would be a fool not to want to spend four years in paradise playing basketball. Sign me up, coach!

In case you were wondering in their game prior to this one Chaminade lost a tough 10 point decision to Western Washington University.

Watching tx get their butts kicked by chaminade...makes me smile. In this season of giving thanks, I'm thankful for chaminade tonight.

I say Texas is a pretender this year loss to a NCAA DIvision 2 school OU loss to them 2 years ago Jeff Capel last year as the coach Cade Davis Senior year

It's one thing to lose to Chaminade, it's another thing to get drilled. Texas gave up 55 points to them in the 2nd half. And it's not like Chaminade was hitting everything they threw up. They only shot 38% from the field and 35% from three. They did shoot 87% from the line and that was a huge difference in the game. Texas shot 57%. Chaminade ended up out-rebounding them 41-33.

Chaminade is a trap game. They're always up for every big name school they play. OU two years ago and UT this year will not be last to lose to them. That kid Haskins could play for anybody. He had 32 points, 9 rebs and 2 steals. He was the best player on the floor tonight. Period.
