@D1Circuit: C Khadeem Lattin (@blessed_lattin): 25 PTS, 10 REB, 13 STL, 5 AST, 5 BLK for RCHA in a win over M.C. @HoustonHoops17U http://t.co/6f7bBtqSwq
How in the heck does he put up numbers like that? What kind of competition is he facing? I'm not sure Yi Jinglin put up stats like that against that chair
I posted this the other day. I'll repeat it. I asked one of the coaches what kind of competition Lattin was hanging these gaudy stats on. I was told that not every night, but, typically it would be comparable to 5A or 6A Oklahoma basketball.
As an example, the game in Houston the night before we played Texas A&M. Lattin hung similar stats. He was going up against a 6'10" kid that is an A&M signee.
The kid probably has the potential to be a program altering talent.

Goosebumps...
OU Head Coach Lon Kruger on Khadeem Lattin:
"Khadeem's a high-energy guy who is long, rangy and athletic. You can say that about all three of our signees. He rebounds the ball well. Because of his attitude and work ethic, he's got a tremendous upside in terms of where he's going to go as a player. Right now he's thought of more of a shot-blocker and a defensive guy, but I think he has a ton of potential offensively."
Redemption Christian Home School Academy Head Coach Ed Chung on Khadeem Lattin:
"Oklahoma is getting a super athlete, and it's enhanced because he's 6-9. He's a hard worker -- very hard worker -- is very coachable and he's a winner. And he's a great kid. He's young but he's a gregarious kid. I love him. He's definitely a winner.
"As far as his strengths, he's a defensive guy right now. He's a Dennis Rodman type. Offensively, he's got to still develop. But his potential is unlimited. He can rebound, he can block shots and he can guard little guys. He's got quick feet, good hips. The best thing about it is that the things that he needs, Coach Kruger and his staff will be able to coach him up on."
I tried to go through each game that was posted on Twitter and average up some season stats for him so far. Only 19 games were posted that I found and of the 19 there were only 11 games in which his steal, block, and assists were recorded so the numbers are probably not entirely accurate but it's a good ballpark.
With that being said through 19 games his stats are as follows:
PTS: 15.3
REB: 13.8
STL: 5
BLK: 6.7
AST: 5
Like I said probably not 100% accurate on some of the stats but it is as close as I could get with the numbers I found. Either way, those are great numbers.
How are Buford and McNease doing?
