I actually think the paid rivals board is pretty decent. It's a little heavy on the recruiting for my taste, but at least they also provide info on current players and team. OUI is, however, completely worthless.

I think this would be perfect because more of the rational posters frequent here right now.

OUI used to be a really good place to talk football with rational posters back in the early 2000's, but naturally the more popular it got the worse it got. I think this would be a great place to talk football as well, and not as many ignorant posters would frequent here since its a "basketball" board. But if it gets too problematic then the football portion can be deleted and it can just be strictly basketball again.

I used to love perusing the OC on the old OUI, but since they moved to 247 the OC took a nose dive. That board always had good info from buying used cars to funny stories to the best way to fertilize your lawn.

Then to OF for football, then LNC (on the old board; OUHoops now) for basketball. So, now is the time I usually hit the OC so I'm kind of bored and hoping we can keep some good basketball topics because this is my favorite board now.

Yeah, when it came to non-related OU topics, the OC section was great.

That's what I would do, too. And no question the 24/7 board has fallen off.

This board is simply the best, primarily because the ratio of rational/non-rational posters is seemingly much greater than the other OU boards. Plus, the layout is so much easier and simpler than the other boards. And I don't mind reading the insight from other schools' posters; most of them are respectful while generating good and interesting conversation.

Glad OUH is expanding towards other topics. If it doesn't work out, than simply close them and make it back strictly to OUH.
