No one - and I mean NO ONE - is more disappointed than me with the loss tonight. But, hey, I'm a Sooner fan and I'll continue to support this team through thick and thin.

Thanks guys, for a better season than anyone expected. How long's it been since we swept O-State AND Texas. I'm proud of what you did and I'm looking forward to an even better season next year.

Everyone hurts because now OU basketball is relevant again. Before it was fire the coach who recruited thugs and cheated and now it's fire the coach who had a superb regular season but got upset in the NCAA first round.

Unfortunately as fans, we only think about the last performance.

Well said, scrybe! I'm on board 100%!!!

I'm as disappointed as anyone with tonight's loss. But we also have a lot to be proud of. This has definitely been a special season. Better still, we have a lot to look forward to next year.

We began the year with little in the way of expectations. The encouraging thing is that we have seen enough to have greater expectations next year. A foundation has been built, and we should see some significant improvement next year.

The season ended sooner than we wanted, but it was filled with wins and many good memories.

I am looking forward to next season, and beyond. There is a solid foundation to build on. The best of the Kruger-era is yet to come.

I truly believe this as well.

This season played out well, largely because we hit a lot of shots (thank you Buddy, Cam, Isaiah, Jordan, Tyler, and Frank for being such gym rats). However, if we do not change our philosophy to some degree, we will still be at the mercy of shot makers. It is great to have guys like that to bail you out but it is not great when they are all you have. We need to add another dimension, or two, to our game next year.

Seems pretty clear, based off of LK's history and the 3 players coming in next season, that this years philosophy/style of play, isn't our long term plan.

we lost because we missed to many shots at the rim ...

3's and 2 footers .. is what we need ... we made plenty of 3's last night ..

We lost because we were a one dimensional team that had one way to win games. We have to get to the point where we can win with our defense, rebounding, and some semblance of an inside game. Additionally, NDSU had many easy looks because we had no inside presence whatsoever.

This.

I may write a long post later on my thoughts, but that would be the short version.

Chrystal clear. Coach did what he needed to do with what he had to work with to get a good result. He will have more to work with next season.

I doubt Kruger will be around long enough to jump to far forward. He moves a lot

Well, you are wrong. He will be here until he retires. There will be no job come available to Kruger from this point that will be better than the one he has got.

This.

OU was the last stop of his career.

and he is going to get another final four appearance!

Man, I hope so. That said, if he hands the program off in stellar shape, that's all I ask.....unless he's here for a decade, then I want a championship! :)

we held them to under 40% shooting in the second half and had 18 O boards ..

we are not a one dimensional team ..

Pretty sure he's talking about not having an inside presence. If he is, he's right. That's getting fixed through recruiting.

We all knew this was going to be a process. Lon's ahead of schedule. That's the bottom line. Last night's loss stung us all, I still have a gut ache (not just the beer) but this was another step in the right direction.
