My Thoughts on Brady Manek and his performance.My phone was dead so i had no video. He literally dominated the first four minutes he was in the game. He had like 8 to 10 points. Offensively it was mainly dunks and lay ups. He did not shoot the ball much, but the two long range shots he took he shot 50%. He runs the floor really well. The things i saw that concerned me a little bit is his agility which will improve. He also didnt have a great night when he was required to handle the ball. It may have been because of the the fact it was an all state game, but he didnt fight much for rebounds. Finally his dunks had the crowd watching in amazement. The kid doesn't look like it, but he has some mad hops!!

I don't think he will redshirt. I could see him leaving after his junior year, too. Not many athletic guys at his height who can rain. He was very underrated coming out of high school, imo.

He's a four year player. I think his game will mature more quickly than Tyler Neal's, but I think he'll turn into a similar player to Tyler his last year and a half as a Sooner.

Thanks for the report! Manek's athleticism has always impressed me. If he can add a few pounds of muscle to his frame, he is going to be a force taking the ball inside. He is already a weapon on the perimeter.

Your comment about his agility surprises me some. I didn't see that on any of the videos I've watched, but that may be because I have never seen him play in person. My perspective might change if I could see the entire floor.

The media coverage out of OKC was downright awful. I never even heard who won the games, much less how anyone did. It wasn't any better for the All-State football game. I remember when both were a big deal.
