The Obama response to H1N1 was a disaster. We were lucky it wasn’t as deadly as corona or we would’ve had 2 million+ deaths. However, somehow, there are those that think Obama/Biden would’ve handled corona better than Trump. That is a lie based on their track record and history of 8 years in office.

Yea, that makes sense. If H1N1 was as deadly, the response would have been different. You can't compare the two.

But yea, think that Obama/Biden weren't competent when 12,000 people died, but don't be upset with Trump at all when 180,000 people are dead in 6 months.

Why stop there? If Obama/Biden were in charge during the plague, I bet humanity would have been wiped out completely. Let's go ahead and put that hypothetical and pointless scenario on them as well.
 
Drives me nuts when the parties swap the White House. I got tired of hearing about Clinton during W's two terms. Then let's all blame W during Obama's eight years. Now everything wrong with the country during the Trump circus can be placed at Obama's feet.

Obama let the scientists do their work during H1N1: that's a massive improvement over the disinformation campaign President Trump has been running. It's the common cold, folks!

Are you stupid or just being an ass. The Obama response to H1N1 was terrible. Had it been as deadly as Covid, it would’ve killed millions more than Covid. They wouldn’t have known that until it was too late. So to say their initial response would’ve been different is yet another lie from you. The only thing that saved them was the fatality rate of the disease, not their response.

Do the people wish information was shared with them instead of kept? Yeah probably. This isn’t saying the leaders would’ve shut things down or made any changes, but they are deservedly upset that information was kept from them by the governor.

I can only speak for myself but if the federal government told me something that the numbers didn’t reflect I wouldn’t care. I believe local over federal

All those counties are orange & Guymon is red. Even if the local authorities didn’t want to change anything they should’ve still been given the information Stitt withheld.
 
How's that any different than the cloak and dagger stuff Stitt is trying to pull right now? The suppression of data in this thing has been alarming.

And yet, the more you read about 1918 it becomes evident that the more things change the more they stay the same.

Did he withhold anything besides that the federal government considers ok a hotspot?

Did he directly order patients into nursing homes?
 
Hearing that they are announcing a treatment today at 5 central. Trump will make the announcement. Supposed to be convalescent plasma.

Convalescent plasma is created from the blood of people who have recovered from Covid-19, and it has shown some success in two other deadly coronaviruses: MERS and SARS. It has also been used to treat flu and Ebola.
