McNease

I like that he finally set his man up and went left one time for a hook. Defender was left guarding air.
That one brought me out of my seat. I'm a purist, and nothing beats old-fashioned post maneuvers.

When I saw him going to his left hand with a pretty shallow angle it was one of those "No, No, nice shot minutes."

The big difference in him tonight was that he was not pushed around and used his athletic ability. We got mauled inside by Texas down there and I suspect that Kruger focused on that in preparing for this game.

He tried that a couple of times in a game a couple of weeks ago when he had gotten a couple of baby hooks to go and they looked awful. The one last night was smooth as glass. Improvement!

That shot is almost impossible to guard. If he can continue to knock them down regularly then he can absolutely continue to contribute double digit points moving forward. If he can add another counter move or two he could be a really good the next few years.

McNeese would absolutely get better if he watches tape of Hakeem Olajuwon. He will probably get a few post moves there (turn around jumper, juke move in the paint etc.). He has the athletic ability to do that.
