Soonersports press release
NORMAN, Okla. - As of Monday evening, Tuesday's 6 p.m. Oklahoma men's basketball game versus Baylor at Lloyd Noble Center is scheduled to be played despite tonight's forecasted winter storm.*
With the assistance of the National Weather Service, the OU Athletics Department is closely monitoring the situation and is in frequent contact with the Big 12 Conference regarding the status of the game.* The OU Athletics Department has a meeting scheduled Tuesday morning to reevaluate the situation and will keep fans apprised of any developments or changes.
The Lloyd Noble Center staff is working diligently with OU's Facilities Maintenance Department to ensure parking lots, sidewalks and entryways are cleared, salted and sanded sufficiently for the safety of fans and staff.
Here are a few parking adjustments that will be invoked in the event of inclement weather for Tuesday's game:
- Bud Wilkinson Society reserved parking will be in the southeast parking lot adjacent to the men's basketball offices
- Sooner Club parking will be on the north and east sides of the arena on a first-come, first-served basis
- Fan parking will be in the north and east parking lots
- Media parking will be in the south lot per usual
OU's Faculty/Staff Night has been postponed until Feb. 16 when the Sooners host Nebraska.
