On another note this is a pretty odd recruitment for the #1 player in the country - does it bother anybody that his dad is pretty much holding schools hostage for a job in order to get his kids to go to their school ?

They have lost 3 players in 2 days due to transfers. But that just means they'll have 9 guys to rotate through instead of 11, which might help them. They're definitely going to be a top 25 team next year as long as everyone stays

It's honestly bush league to take advantage of a kid like that. IDK all the details, maybe he's a great coach, but maybe he's just using his son as a tool to get hired.

Based on the fact that they struggled mightily down the stretch (11-9 in their last 20 games), they lose far and away the best offensive player on an already offensively challenged team, and they lose a key reserve who would have been a major contributor next year.

True. It's not as bad; but I just thought I heard an NCAA rule where if you're recruiting a kid you can't hire his father as an assistant. It was Michigan football or something
