Hoping that RI senses this is an easy win, that we play hard for the entire game, that we make shots, and that we play with composure down the stretch. That is a lot to ask but hope is all I can provide.

If I hear their coach assure his team they will out-work us and then start to see that happen I will know we are in trouble again.

If they think it will be an easy win they are nuts. Just containing Trae Young is a concern.

Duke's Mike Krzyzewski said a bunch of interesting things Wednesday.

His answer about Trae Young was not one of them. Coach K recruited Young, and if Duke and Oklahoma win, they will meet in the Round of 32.

“I know Trae,” Krzyzewski said. “We looked at him. We were impressed with him. But I’d rather talk about Iona, and if we’re fortunate enough to play Oklahoma, then I’ll talk forever about it.”

Another glimpse of Coach K wisdom: He talked about the ability to adapt over time, and mentioned how it applies to people in any industry.

“I’ve been coaching for 43 years,” he said. “I better adapt to how I deal with the kids I coach. Good leaders stick with good, fundamental values while they adapt to the current environment of how to be successful.”

Guys, i wore my lucky ou shirt. We are going to win and win bigly..

Much like this ou team, my shirt started off strong.. id wear it and people were like "dang that shirt is number 1" and id say "well it's close and has a shot at number 1, but it's really number 4 right now".

And that kept happening repeatedly. My shirt had some great showings. But one day, due to my dual passions of blue gel pens and clicking/spinning said pen, the unimaginable happened. I got blue pen gel all over my glorious white previously ranked 4 ou shirt. It was safe to say my shirt took a major L (like when OU decided to let OSU Kendall Smith dribble down the court uncontested from 3...).

I spent months rewashing the shirt and trying new methods. My shirt hasn't seen many good days since 2017. But today i saw it hanging in my closet with the blue gel spots on it. And i decided, screw it. it's a great day, were in the tournament and its a new day. And you know what, my shirt looked pretty dang good too
