+++++#7/7 Oklahoma [12-1] vs. #5/6 W. Virginia [13-1] Game Thread+++++

Playing WVU is good experience for their opponents and fool's gold for WVU. Overall, their style of play gets them some nice home victories in the regular season, keeps their alumni happy but doesn't pay off in the postseason.

+1

You knew it was frustrating I just don’t understand why we didn’t push the tempo.

Pass to beat the press. You had numbers in the front court. Take the transition 3.

They got out of the trap early after we did that

Agree completely. Great post. I suspect the game will go very differently in Norman.

No wonder Doolittle has not played much. Just not ready. But will be.

Very interesting take. I'd say that Doolittle played better than just about everyone else in crimson tonight. Not sure it was very close.

He handled the psychicallity better than the rest

Sucks to lose but no big deal.. lattin is brutal to watch imo. He tries.

Great learning experience

Tough matchup but we knew it - game like this will pay off down the line. boomer.

Young finished w/ only 5 assists?

If they counted fouls he’d have had about 13 assists. He’d make a great pass and WV would hack

I admit Fran did a good job calling the game between T.Tech and Kansas. LOL

We will learn so much from this game and when they come to town (Norman) we will take that knowledge and beat the crap out of them. I would say that they may be the favorites to win the Big 12. We will come back strong Tuesday against TT

Our starting center is averaging four points a game over the past eight games. Given the number of times Trae sets him up for easy opportunities, that's incredible. We don't need him to be a big scorer but need him to convert bunnies. Whatever confidence he might have had at one point, he has none right now. His body language shows that.

Lattin played eleven minutes tonight. Two early fouls that weren't excessive, but they were kind of silly fouls.

Jamuni played 29 minutes. He is so much better on the lobs....taller and longer arms. And he should be jumping center at the start of the game. Sometimes every possession matters.
