I bet Kansas doesn't really want to face Iowa state in the sweet 16 in Kansas city

Just a couple of early thoughts on the bracket:
  • So glad to see that Syracuse got left out....they didn't deserve to be in the tournament.
  • I think OSU was underseeded....thought they should be no worse than an 8.
  • Wichita State was criminally underseeded at 10. They are #8 in Kenpom, but they are seeded that low because they have absolutely no resume to speak of (only 1 win over a team that is in the tournament). They will give Kentucky all they want.
  • Every other analyst is really high on UCLA and has them advancing. I'm not sure they even get to the Sweet 16.
  • I think the EAst is the toughest region, followed closely by the South and Midwest. The West is by far the easiest.

true, and an ISU-KU matchup would somewhat neutralize KU's "pod" home court advantage. also, one of the first things i do when the bracket comes out is find Izzo. KU might have to go threw him first. an underachieving MSU team has done damage before.....

Wow that south region has 3 top 5 teams in it.

Agree the east is the toughest region. Not sure about osu getting a raw deal. 1. Their resume is lacking. 2. They might as well got a 7 seed. Now they can just wear their ugly orange unis. I'd rather be a 10 than an 8/9.

KU plays tomorrow at 4:15. Is the first game. Baylor follows.

I went to the SMU/USC game. I bought a ticket out front for a reasonable price. I hung around for a while between sessions but there were very few tickets for sale - except from professional scalpers so I came home and watched from the comfort or my recliner. I wonder if tomorrow will be the same.

Not sure. SMU fans were out in full force yesterday. I'm not sure if they bought tickets to the 3rd session or not. Prime Sports had good ticket deals for the tournament as well. The 2nd sessions had tons of empty seats, and I'm pretty sure the BOK center didn't sell out for this either. Plenty of fans bought seats at the top and walked down and sat in seats in the lower levels until they were kicked out
