NDSU message board

They have a punchers chance, we would be confident like we were last year.

I probably shouldn't have been but was a little surprised they had a message board. But yeah they seem uber confident. I guess this Bjorkland guy is the next Patrick Ewing

Well, they do have a chance. With our tourney history, we have no reason to be over confident.

Sure they have a chance. But their posts come across like we are a sure win for them and how they matchup in the next round.

A couple things I found laughable:

1. They compare us to Denver
2. They act as though playing in the Big 12 is nothing... They list our numbers and compare them to ours as though it isn't comparing apples to oranges.
3. One guy said this "Sometimes in these kinds of matchups you say that our team wins if we play out of our minds, but in this game that isn't the case. We just need to play our brand of BBALL and we should have a good chance to win."

We need to kick their confident butts all over that floor in Spokane...

Pretty funny how they're using IUPUFW and Denver to make themselves feel better.

One guy nailed it. We're more athletic and that is going to give them fits. That said, if we let them control tempo, we could be in trouble.

Also, we can't rely on the three. We need to use our sets to work the ball outside-in. Only good threes. That's been an issue in a few games. They're right that the NCAA Tournament isn't historically conducive to three-point shooting teams.

This post prompted me to register:

"OKlahoma is a good matchup for us. They are strong at offense and they struggle at defense. It's a real good matchup for us. We should be able to run our offense against them and they have to be able to score against our defense. It's still an uphill battle, but if there any kind of team that we could matchup well against, it's a team like Oklahoma. They finished second in the Big 12, really only because Iowa State and Texas went through injuries, and Marcus Smart fiasco. They are going to be very tough for us to beat, but we can beat them. "

Man, the disrespect we've gotten for this great season is pretty amazing, really. Texas injuries (we swept them), Marcus Smart (we beat them by 12 at home with him) and Iowa State whatever (again, split). Really?

I just hope there is someone on the team posting these things all over the locker room.

I'd be confident too if I'd beaten up on a conf consisting of:
N Dakota, Omaha, IUPUI, S Dakota St, Denver, W Ill, & mighty Ft Wayne!!!

Hey now. Don't forget they won AT Western Michigan (Pomeroy #113) and beat Delaware (Pomeroy #105) at home.

In all seriousness, the resumes of OU and NDSU are not in the same zip code. But all that goes out the window once the ball goes in the air.

Ask Lehigh when they beat Duke
Ask Norfolk State win they Beat Missouri

Just because we should win doesn't mean they will roll over and die. We have to come ready to play because they will

^ This! We should beat these guys by double digits, and if our guys are properly motivated, we will.

Exactly. They are good enough to beat us if we don't play well. Period. This isn't some terrible team that we can roll over in our sleep.
