Haven't heard much about him but according to Rivals he's a top 50 player and lists OU as having interest. He's a combo forward.

1-5 Elite made the long trip from Portland to Akron, but Terrence Jones showed no signs of jet lag. The 6-foot-8 and 220 forward was excellent on Saturday. He shot the lights out from the outside, and also finished at the rim with dunks. He still needs to develop a mid-range game, but with his strength and ability to finish he was an impressive performer.

Terrence Jones notes interest from Marquette, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Indiana, Florida, Oregon State, Cal, UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State, Georgetown, Florida State, and Tennessee.

Meyer on Jones:

Terrence Jones (I-5 Elite) – Having grown to a healthy 6-foot-8, Jones is turning into a highly skilled four man. The lefty is an exceptional passer on the move and when he gets his big body in gear, he can control the boards. Jones also has a knack for scoring in the midrange and his long range shot appears to be improving. If he gets serious about his conditioning, Jones can be an impact player at the next level.

Capel is always good for a mystery recruit. Maybe this is the guy.

Trouble is, from the quote, we have shown interest in him, he hasn't indicated anyone he is interested in.

Trouble from the quote is he's not indicating an offer. If he's a top 50 recruit, why no offer? But you're correct in your premise Banjo. Alot of these kids rattle off schools just to show that they are desired and sometimes have no real interest. The word is the interest is recipricated in this case.

Scout shows that we have offered in one of their write-ups. Okie State has also extended him an offer.

Another rivals write up with two more OU recruits.

OU recruits LeBryan Nash and Ray McCallum are listed.

LAS VEGAS- The adidas Nation workout was the highlight of the day on Saturday. Some high level players were on the court but none were as impressive as 2011 wing prospect LeBryan Nash.

Nash was the top scorer.
No one was keeping stats but there is no doubt that Nash was far and away the high scorer during the scrimmage portion of the practice. He was dialed in from beyond the line, and his midrange game was unguardable. Nash has a high-level physique, bouncy athleticism, and a one-on-one game that looks like Lance Stephenson at his best.

Dominique Ferguson is maturing into a highly-skilled four man. His three-point shot was true throughout workout, and he is putting on positive weight. He was the top rebounder during the scrimmage.

Tristan Thompson stood out in the drill portion of the practice. His top-notch work ethic is producing results as he continues to improve physically and skill wise.

Nick Johnson has as smooth a shooting stroke as anyone in the 2011 class.

Marquis Teague was the most impressive point guard at the workout. His dribbling skills are unmatched on the circuit, and he has the athleticism to continually get to the rim. Throw in his reliable jumper and you have a guy that is nearly unstoppable.

The most impressive passer in the workout was Anthony Wroten Jr. Although he over-passed in the lane, his vision up the court was refreshing considering the tendency for guards to over-dribble in events like this.

Trey Zeigler has an impressive first step.

Jordan Price is a big bodied wing out of the 2012 class who didn't look a bit out of place during the event. Along with his physicality, he has quite a high skill level.

Ray McCallum has all the markings of a coach's son when he is running the point. And over the past year, he has developed a great deal physically.

The other participants in the workout were Trae Golden, Jordan McRae, Justin Martin, Joshua Hairston, Josh Smith, Myck Kabongo, Kevin Ware, Rodney Hood, Cody Zeller, Rakeem Christmas and Marshall Plumlee.

No Idea. He's camped at OU two years ago and his list seems to be very wide open. He's going to be one of those guys that everyone and their dog comes after. Expect UNC, UK, Kentucky, Texas, and the rest on him.

I hope he camps here again. I am really looking foward to this year's elite camp. Should be a lot of good talent to evaluate.
