There is no doubt in my mind if tiny returns he will be the most improved...he will be a STUD next year...mark it down

If willie warren returns I look for him to be second most improved..he should be a much better team better and after this year he realizes he needs to get better to be able to play well at the next level...

Third, I think fitz shows up in better shape and really is a much better player next year

The good thing about next year is OU has an opportunity for several players to return showing significant improvement.

I agree that Tiny Gallon is improved. I think Cade Davis will be a significantly improved player. He got a lot of minutes this year, built up his confidene and really expanded his game. I thinik he will have an outstanding senior season.

TMG will be improved. We may not notice it as much (because he is so good already) but a year of experience asa startning point guard in the Big XII is huge.

Fitzgerald and Pledger should both be improved. I think you will see these guys in better shape, quicker and with more confidence as college players. Playing with confidence is huge. If you have ever been nervous playing sports you can relate to being freshman or not having confidence.

I think Allen and Willis also have the opportunity to be improved players.

If Willis wants to improve. He really needs to bulk up. He gets pushed around way too easy out there.

If Tiny is back he has the most room to grow. He got worse and worse as the year went on. But there's a good chance that he's done at OU. Willie's biggest problem this year was that he wasn't healthy and we never figured out how to play games when both he and TMG were on the court at the same time. I almost hope we just have on or the other on the court at one time.

Gallon, Davis, and Warren in that order. Unfortunately most people won't care because they have already written off Gallon and Warren. Of course as fickle as some have been they will probably be back in the good graces.

I've written off Gallon because I think he may have given up. And all these disciplinary issues may lead him to be kicked off the team if he doesn't leave.

I think Fitzgerald comes back as the most improved.

If the agent stuff is not true, do you still think he may be gone?

Fitz would be my pick, I think Tiny will improve a lot if he comes back, but Fitz just had more room to improve at this point.

OU doesn't suspend him if there isn't some truth to it. But I think there's more than just that going on. He's been benched all year because of stupid little things. I think he could be disinterested in the college experience and he decides to go to Europe and try and develop his skills there. Midway through this year it looked to me like he quit trying to get better.

You may be right, but just Tuesday against Tech he looked really good the last 5 minutes of the game. He was dominant.

I don't think it was as much him not trying to get better but rather other coaches figuring out the holes in his game.

And saying he's been "benched all year because of stupid little things" is a big exaggeration. He's been disciplined a lot more than we all would have liked but not all year.

Your post has a lot of speculation in it.

And he disappeared for most of Big 12 play. He went from averaging nearly 15 a game and like 12 boards a game to averaging just barely 10 a game and about 7.8 boards.

How many true freshman are averaging 10 and 8 in Big 12 play?

He averaged less than that in Big 12 play. That's his overall average. His Big 12 average is something like 7 and 7

That is typical of most players especially freshman. He hit the wall and then off the court stuff kicked in. It'll be interesting to see what happens with him thru summer and into next year.

I think TMG will be most improved. Freshman always take a leap year one to two.

Blake was different he actually had average going into Big 12 play. Something like 10 points and 6 boards maybe a little higher but by the end of Big 12 play he averaged something like 15 and 8 boards. Maybe a little less on both numbers but his numbers were better in Big 12 play.

Oh, I misunderstood what you meant. I would love to have Tiny back if the NCAA is not an issue. I think the fact that he never played inside before this year is the reason for the huge leap in his game next year. It is all about being comfortable with Tiny. Right now he is a 6'9", 300 lb shooting guard in terms of his comfort level in spots on the court. I think this is the major issue between Tiny and Capel.

Blake Griffin was a freak who happened to be picked #1 overall. Any comparsions are just unfair.

No clue. Nearly all of them need to though, if we're going to be any good.

Since I expect most to be gone, I'll say Pledger. I had high hopes for this kid. Thought he might end up being a bigger Hollis Price. As of today, I was wrong. Hopefully the kid pulls it together and at least becomes the player most thought he would be. Even if that is just a 3 point specialist.
