What a fun season. OU is number one and OSU is horrible and losing all the time. The perfect cap to ths season would be OU winning it all and Travs Ford getting fired

Would have been nice to see them get the win, given that OSU was remembering their fallen comrades. Loved the jersey tribute!

looks like it was just a warmup tribute. I thought it would have been cool to actually have jersey tributes

It was a jersey tribute in the sense the jerseys they wore were from the time of the crash. Hence the cursive Cowboys across the chest.

I was actually pulling for OSU.

Wanted to see Baylor drop that one...any time you can get separation at the top of the Big 12, you gotta root for it like crazy!

Baylor doesnt seem to be too legit, we beat osu at home, so why cant baylor.

If they refuse to fire Ford, then watching them lose is a good thing, i've liked the shift to football, undefeated til game 8 or so, then falling apart. poor aggies

I wanted OSU to win for two reasons:

a) a win would have dropped Baylor into a tie for 3rd place in the conference race.

b) another key win on the heels of the KU upset, might be enough to keep Travis around another year or two.

Despite my contempt for OSU, I see those things as a win-win for OU.

I always enjoy seeing osu lose. Always! If you want to spin the Baylor (over osu) win into a positive it will make our thrashing of them on the road look that much better!

Agreed. I don't really see Baylor as a threat for the conference title. We still get them in Norman, and I think they'll drop a game or two they shouldn't before then.

I don't see OSU getting in the top 25. I would prefer to see Baylor a top 25 road win.

Seed wise for the NCAA we need teams like Baylor ranked in the top 20 . They aren't going to win the big 12 , but we need them as close as possible . We don't want Kansas and Ou sharing a title conference title and the big 12 tourney ( in their back yard ) for the nunber 1 seed .

We need teams like Baylor/ Iowa state / wv to stay in the top 25 because if they do there could be an outside chance the big 12 got 2 number one seeds .( depending on what the others contenders do down the stretch and in their conference tournaments.

If osu hasn't fired Ford by now then they aren't going to spend millions and do it now . He's probably going to finish out his contract there. It would have been worth the Millions 4 years ago , but they should have bit the bullet then .

If they did it now it would still cost millions and make them look worse that it didn't happen 3-4 years ago .

We need teams like osu , tech , and TCU to basically beat no one else minus each other .

A top 20 with Baylor , WV, Iowa state , Kansas and ou would look really good come bracket selection.

Ou is right were they want to be . They just need to take care of the home court , and not lose more then one road game and they should win the conference outright .

Excellent points in the debate as to why a Baylor win was better for OU. I don't disagree with anything you guys said.

It's that one of OU's goals before the season got underway was to win a Big 12 championship. To do that, we need Baylor, KU, iSU and WVU to lose as many games as necessary to keep us in first place. If we could pick and choose which games our main competition will win or lose, your way of reaching that goal would work just fine. Problem is, we can't. So, I think we should take those losses as they come and be happy about it, even if they are at the hands of a team in the bottom half of the conference.

I think OU is the best team in the Big XII and doesn't need any help to win the conference.

I agree with the best team part. That still doesn't change my mind about accepting a little help to put OU in a better position to win the conference title.

KU has had a monopoly on winning the Big 12 for way too long to suit me. I want to see that end. Winning the conference championship will do just as much, maybe more, to put OU in the driver's seat for a #1 seed as hoping the teams I referenced earlier continue to win every game except when they play the Sooners.

I probably don't need help mowing my lawn, but if help is available, I'll take it 10 times out of 10.

It's that simple in my mind
