A post player isn't going to help you reduce your number of turnovers. A tough minded point guard who can handle pressure will, though.
While I think we need a post player, I think we need a real point guard just as much. I like this commitment a lot, and I think she will help us tremendously.
Hope I am wrong but I don't see the skills that would turn a program around. Good to great court vision. Hit a nice trey and obviously can score at that level but her shooting percentages are not even up to Mercer's at the Div I level.
Looks quick, but not exceptional and few turnovers but the opposition was not one to cause turnovers. Obviously hard to evaluate against such woeful competition, but my question to Sherri is "is that all you got?"
