Need to run the O by getting it into the post. We don't have anyone that can score of the dribble in this environment (where they are getting bumped and ridden to the basket). PGs need to penetrate forward and then pass when they see the double coming.

Play the same way on D and we come away with a V.

Hard to be unhappy with a five-point lead at the half, but boy, was that sloppy and rag-tag. We could have been up by fifteen with crisp play on the offensive end.

And I can't say I admire the officiating so far.

In defense of the officials, both teams played so poorly this is not an easy game to call. To put it mildly, that was one of the worst 20 minutes of basketball I have seen in sometime.

If our offense had been clicking at the pre-holiday rate, our lead would be 25 at the half, not 5. The good news is that our defense has been awesome so far! When the shots aren't falling and players are turning the ball over at a record pace, it pays to have a good defense.

Yes he did. Refs aren't looking for low checks.

I agree with Ada, though, that this is a tough game to officiate. Unless you can take it strong to the basket you aren't going to get the call. Our guard strength is stationary shooting.

I hope we can beat the doubles and run the O through the post and get some chippies and kick out 3s. Gotta love the defensive effort from both teams but especially ours.

On the other hand they are adjusting their O with dribble penetration. We have to stop that.
