Cowboy, I think Morgan is Landry Jones double. They both can be great and then do things that makes you wonder about them. She can't be out of shape and play the minutes she does. One thing about both of them, they always seem to come through at the last minute.

I thought Morgan was Steady Eddie last night, and that was reinforced by what Coach said postgame about not letting their pressure make us speed up our cadence. When I find myself holding my breath is whenever Jaz is running the offense.

Absolutely right, Jaz had wide open lanes to drive through and constantly just dribbled around the floor or picked up her dribble with no one to pass to. I was impressed with how steady Mo kept the ship afloat. She made a couple of silly mistakes, but she was solid when we needed her and didn't play too much out of control. She may not be a Danielle Robinson, she may not be real flashy, but right now she is the best we have, and she can play for me any day of the week.

This reminds me of another point. I thought Sherri definitely out-coached the competition last night. She got absolutely the maximum contribution out of her 8 warriors. The offense/defense substitutions starting with 5 minutes to go were brilliant.

Coach Carey was a bit short handed in the last 5 minutes which limited his options. That said, I did think Sherri made some very good substitutions. You just cannot leave Aaryn in the game defensively when the game is on the line. BUT, you need her for every offensive play in that scenerio.

Coach Carey was less short handed than Coach Coale at the beginning of the game. If he was more short handed at the end, it was because he was out coached.

Also, Jaz was substituted mostly for Morgan, not Aaryn. I thought Aaryn played quite credible defense in the second half.
