OMG will the season just get here already!

All this talk about potential and what we think guys will do and how bad some think we will be and how good some think we will be is killing me...

I just cant wait till the ball is tossed up in the air and we can see if these guys are for real...if that heart we hear about is for real, if they actually do care about each other and will live and die for the team...

I want to see what all the talk about Clark is about, yea i've seen the highlights in high school but can he lead a major D1 team?

I want to see if any of these PG's can stay in front of anyone, i dont care if they can score...we had that guy last year...

I want to see if our undersized guys can block out and hustle more than the opposition to make up for our lack of size...

And i want to see if Jeff Capel can coach, I really want him to be the guy that is at OU for years to come...but lets be honest here, consistency hasnt been his greatest attribute...

I am totally with you. I can't wait to see these new guys in action so we can stop guessing what they might be like.

It's really ridiculous to compare this team to any other right now too because most people have never seen Thompson, Washington, or half these other guys play.

Let's hurry up and get this show on the road. I'm anxious to see what this group can accomplish.

It is truely an "Us against the world" situation with these guys. And the "Us" doesn't include many of our own fans.

This year is the first year that I dont have the slightest clue about this team. Too many new people. I'm sure that it will take at least halfway through the conference season before we learn what this team is all about. I'm just hoping that, from whatever level we start out, every game is an imporvement so that we wind up, if not at or near the top of the league, we are considered very dangerous and make the tournament.
