Wow Bennett only 3 minutes. Wish we could give him more time, as it is the only way he will develop.

I thought he played decent in those 3 minutes, but the fact that he didn't play more, I think, probably means that he wasn't doing something right.

Yep, I was confused as well. I didn't think he looked bad, but obviously Kruger didn't like what he saw. To the point he played Neal at the 5 for several minutes.

I thought he played decent in those 3 minutes, but the fact that he didn't play more, I think, probably means that he wasn't doing something right.

Darned if I know what it could have been. I thought he played well. He needs to get more minutes, because we're going to need him down the home stretch.

True. But if he isn't doing things that he is being asked to do, and is capable of doing, I have no problem with LK keeping him on the bench. If you keep playing him, he'll never do those things. Tough love.

Darned if I know what it could have been. I thought he played well. He needs to get more minutes, because we're going to need him down the home stretch.

He likely made a mistake or two on defense that Tech did not exploit so only the coaches noticed.

That would be about the only major beef I would have with Lon's substitution decisions. DJ has shown spurts of brilliance with his shot blocking ability and has most recently shown some of his scoring abilities. IMO, he should play at LEAST 12-14 mins a game. 3 mins is simply ridiculous. He hasn't been in any game to get into any rythem to show his full game. On the European tour he had a few games where he scored in the teens...so i think he has it in him. maybe if we could maintain some of these leads we get and put these teams away, the coaches may feel like they dont have to have starters in there so dang much.

I don't know about 12-14, but it seems like 8-10 is within reason.

He's got to get stronger. Bottom line is that he can't keep anyone off the block until he puts on 20 pounds.

He was playing really badly until recently. The last 3-4 games, he has looked better.
