Iwuakor looks like Shawn Kemp
Congrats. The comment on Doo might be the most ridiculous thing posted in ages, and that's saying something. He has been awful ... I mean, other than being perfect from the floor and line so far tonight, and being the reigning Big 12 player of the week, and being a good bet for 18- 20 and 8-10 boards, he is just terribly inconsistent.
Do you know what inconsistent means? The dude is shooting 35% on the year coming into this game. Before tonight he had 48 points on 49 shot attempts for the year. That’s not efficient at all. Tonight he was 7/7. The other night he was 7/21. Inconsistent.
He can be a very, very, very good basketball player for us. As Lon has said, he needs to be more assertive for 40 minutes. He only attempted 4 shots in the first when I wrote that rant.

I'm glad we decided to show up for the second half. It's hard to put a positive spin to the fact that one of the worst D-1 teams was 14-30 against us from beyond the arc. I don't even want to imagine what a good outside shooting team would accomplish against us...can only hope for remarkable improvement.

Giving up 33.3% on 3s, haven’t watched the game yet but I’m assuming it was uninspired effort in the 1st half & gave up some shots. I’m excited about this team’s ability to play defense.
I agree, other than a win not much to talk about in this game..I'm glad we decided to show up for the second half. I don't get Fox Sports regional channels and didn't get to listen to the radio broadcast. When SoonerSports posts the replay, should I skip the first half?

Last year he shot 50% and was all Big12, this year averaging 16 & 11. Maybe don’t make crazy statements and when you get called out your argument was “I felt that way 30 minutes ago”.
What crazy statement? Doolittle has been inconsistent throughout his career here. He is probably our best player. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been inconsistent. In the 10 games at the start of conference play last year he scored: 12, 16, 9, 24, 7, 9, 7, 4, 12, and 7. And then he scored at least 14 in every game after that until scoring 8 against UVA. That was after starting the year averaging 5.9 points through the first 10 games of the season. He’s been highly inconsistent. Hopefully we see less of that throughout this season. I thought he could be an NBA player after his freshman year. That’s unrealistic, but he can still be very good for us.
