The stat I don't like is Fitzgerald's five boards in thirty-nine minutes of play.

Interesting to note that they didn't shoot threes much better than we did, they just shot a lot of them.

And they hit them early, which put us on our heels a bit.

Good point Sky. Really all the shooting %s (FG, 3p, FT) were all almost identical. The thing that sticks out to me in watching the 2nd half and looking at the box score is the assists. OU just didn't share the ball well. 6 assists on 26 FG's isn't going to get it done. Kentucky for example had over twice as many assists on only 3 more FGs. That bothered me.

The other thing that stuck out to me was how much better Terrence Jones was than anyone else on the floor. Dude is a stud. He's going to be a great pro.

Man, I hope fitz works on his rebounding its the only thing holding him back from being great.

Yea I agree. We have to have more boards from Fitz and Thompson. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

Six assists total and Pledger's entire stat line are big disappointments for me.

I would say the FT shooting is what caught my eye. Only 9-18 from the stripe, you expect a Calipari team to shoot bad from there, but that was 9 pts left on the floor.

Very disappointing. Drew and company have got to hit their free throws if we want to win close games this year.

newell needs to play more .. and I don't want to see cade shoot 20 shots ..

pledge needs over 10 shots a game

I agree Wish. He HAS to get better on the glass.

The only way he gets better on the glass is to really work on his position when each shot goes up...he is offensive minded, therefore he is still trying to get position in each possession to get the ball and once it goes up he is out of position to rebound...

he isnt a guy that is going to go up and get it and that is why he doesnt rebound well...

I'm not saying he can never be a good rebounder, but it's almost like we can have one or the other...i do believe some better coaching around rebounding position could help benefit him greatly...throw on some Kevin Love film and you can see a guy that knows where to be when the shots go up...it can be done even with a scoring mentality, but he isnt a guy that will ever average 10 boards, but maybe we can get him up to 7...i think that would be acceptable...
