So is McNeace not playing b/c they hope to redshirt him if Thomas is ruled eligible? What if Thomas can't play, would they burn the redshirt, or try to get thru the season with just Spangler, Lattin, Bennett, and the walk-ons?

Not trying to be a negative nancy here, but I would really worry about this team's ceiling with only those 3 posts playing. Not that playing McNeace will make a huge difference, as he is a project kid himself.

LK might not want to do it, but you may see some 4 guard lineups at certain points if Thomas doesn't get to play. At some point, you have to have your best guys on the floor. And that might include four guards.

Fair enough. I just didn't see much all of last year either. Not all Juco's play better as seniors than juniors. Especially project types. But I hope he plays better. I do. I think the team needs him to.
 
There are so many fouls being calls, it's hard to get a rhythm.... for either team. Both teams are sloppy. I do like the way Woodard has played.

Billy made a comment that one of the freshmen was sitting out with a concussion. I assume it is either McNeace or Bola Alade.

The announcers said McNeace was being held out due to possible concussion symptoms.

Yeah... If Thomas isn't eligible, I think we might need to play McNease. I'm just don't think 20+ minutes a game with Bennett is sustainable.

I missed that. Unless the kid can't walk and chew gum at the same time, I'd guess we're a better team with him as the 4th big, and not some walk-on, assuming Thomas doesn't get to play.

Come on NCAA. That sure is a big decision for this team.
 
I liked seeing the bench get excited over Cousins' jam. They look like they're having fun.
