+++++++OU-West Virginia Gameday Thread+++++++

On the game-winning shot, Page had his forearm out on Cousins. Should have been an offensive foul. And the clock did start a tick before Buddy had the ball. It started every bit as early as his shot was late.

Of course we played terrible BUT the point is CALL THE RIGHT CALLS ref and OU wins ( and if Spangs doesn't air ball two free throws)

And here it is. OU got more calls than we didn't tonight.

Buddy played like dog crap, and OU still almost managed to pull this one out! That fact alone gives me hope! What doesn't ia that we have scholarship players who can't make layups...but that was a great game with a bad ending.

You cannot miss free throws at the end of games - and that has become a common characteristic of this team. It even cost us that 1st Kansas game.

It does not bode good things for the tournament.

You noticed that WV hit theirs.

Give me a break. He missed 2 FTs and that is your key to this when we turn it over 20+ times. He played very well besides that - much better than most everyone else.

Gawd, I just LOVE Spangler, but he just plain choked on his two free throws. It is just a damn shame that his first free throw rattled out. If he makes the first one, I truly believe he'd have made the second, too. Missing the first one got in his head.
And that was the difference in not going to OT.

very good last 10 min, first 30, not so much. Ah well...wait and see...

I'm sure wv will lay an egg tomorrow against ku. No way they shoot the 3 like they did against us.

That was a bad call but we just had to play OK to win this. We looked like we had never seen their press before.

I don't like that Kruger didn't have them attacking the rim once they broke the press. Put a big at center court like last year.

We need a separate thread after games we lose for people who what to bash players.

LK didn't do a good job of finding ways to free him up.

Alright, if this team goes on to win the big Dance, I will forgive them for the way they played this game. Seriously, showed heart coming back. James had a coming out party tonight. I hope he plays before Walker in the tourney.

lol..wow. People thought I was bad...without James (who scored 11 points) we don't even come close...

It's not bashing a player to say that Spangler, as a redshirt senior, shouldn't airball a FT in that situation.

That was not an offensive foul.

What about that technical on Cousins. That was arguably a six point deal because they got four and OU lost possession.
