+++++++OU-West Virginia Gameday Thread+++++++

End of the game was a dagger.

Spangler misses two FTs
Spangler draws a charge but it is called a block.
Awful offense by OU and Buddy puts Cousins in a bad position.
Big bucket by Page
James is fouled on a drive and no call and he misses the layup
1 FT for WVU and then that crazy ending.

As long as you're making a list, you might mention that Page was holding off Cousins with his arm on that "big bucket" but no whistle.

And the clock started early on the final play.

I mean, if you're going to make a list, make a complete one.

Garbage call if you aren't going to call a technical on WVU for pushing him on the FT line.

That happens every game. He didn't get pushed, he got "half assed blocked out". There was nothing malicious about that.

When is the last time you saw a 5th year senior airball a FT at the end of a close game? Guarantee you can't answer that question.

I saw a lot of seniors do things they shouldn't do. Too much focus on one FT. What if it went in and out - is that OK? We will lead by 3 at that point.

It's not bashing a player to say that Spangler, as a redshirt senior, shouldn't airball a FT in that situation.

Spangler, and everyone else on this team, deserves more respect than what most of the people on this board give them after losses.

When's the last time you saw a 6'7 guy lead a conference in rebounds ...... Ryan as a Soph .... That's when . Suck on that if you are going to blame the loss on him

Then make your own list.

Maybe never but that is why I say he is more upset about it than you or any other fan.

Cousins swung his arm...I can see the T foul. That's on him...needs to control. I thought though there was a foul by wv on the drive, not sure if they called it or not.

Amen to that. Spangler played very well. How about that sweet all-ball block during our comeback? That was huge.

If you've done better in the same situation, write him a letter. I'm sure it will get the attention it deserves.

It was a push. He extended his arm more than a block out.
But cousins was an idiot for his technical

I went back and watched James' drive again. No doubt a block.
