And Jeff has been fired for about two months in Joe's mind so I think it will go quick. Remember last time Altman was the first one offered the job then Jeff and no one had them on the radar

I don't know much about Pastner other than he is very young. I would prefer to have a coach who is experienced and not so green, which is why both BCG and Marshall would be great hires, IMO.

Heck, Marshall took Winthrop to the NCAA tourney 7 times. I don't care what anybody says, that is impressive.

And, while I don't care for BCG's off court problems, I would take him as long as he is clean.

I hear things. I read things.
I won't believe any of it unless I "hear" it from Chewy.

I agree. That is a pretty disappointing "first" list if true. We are setting the bar too low if that is who we initially contacted.

True. I'm not saying we end up with a bigger name but at least reach out to a few of the big names to see if there is any interest.

The only problem I have with Pastner is his ties to Calipari. He's young, energetic, and his deep AAU ties in Texas would be a huge plus.

No one even remotely close to a sure thing is going to even consider the OU job. K, Izzo, Pitino, Donovan, Self, Roy, maybe Matta and Dixon... that's about the complete list of sure things.
