Are we really going to be that awful and last in the big 12 with that squad? I have faith if we land a grad transfer that can play we could still push for the tourney.

The grad transfer PG options the coaches are currently following on Twitter are from Maine, Pacific and a school called "USC Upstate". Maybe more options will become available.

Their best bet next year would be to play a total cupcake non con and try to get to about 10 wins before B12. Because they will likely be fortunate to win 5 B12 games. .500 might be a lofty goal for next year. And I really don’t think this is a Debbie Downer outlook. Our returnees made zero progress this year— a regression actually.

I mean Mcneace looks like he could be real legit. Manek I think we all like and I think he could be a Dean Wade type of player in a year or two. As long as our other guards just improve a little and we get a impact transfer there may be a small chance!

If this team can't win & play sound basketball with one of the premier young players in the Country then it just isn't going to happen next year.For all the bit##ing about Trae,at least he was trying to help lead this team,but it's hard to do it by yourself when you get zero help from your teamates.Go Sooners!

Too many spot up shooters who have a hard time creating their own shots means there needs to be better ball movement to find the open shot. We also have players who pass on open shots who need to develop the confidence in their shot so they actually take these open shots.

He wasn't a grad transfer but transferred with 1 year left and got a waiver so he didn't have to sit out. It was just like a grad transfer but technically not 1.

I think it's likely we get a grad transfer PG if Trae leaves. It just makes the most sense w Harmon coming in the next year.

My opinion for what it’s worth, if Trey returns we could possibly be an elite team, if he goes pro, I think we could have a better than decent team. Either way, gotta learn to play better together and learn to play better defense.

Wade actually can hit a mid range jumper and is a good FT shooter...HOPEFULLY Manek can get to that level by Sr. yr..

I don't agree that missing the tournament is better for publicity or the program's reputation than making the tournament is. I'm betting that Okie State fans are wishing they'd scheduled somebody in their non-conference schedule.
