Yeah. One is the coach one is the player. Manek is a team guy.

I’m not sure the team isn’t better this year with Hill or Iwuakor in the line up rather than Manek. Brady scores better than either but that’s the end of his good qualities. He is a liability on defense and on the boards. For the season I would bet Manek’s man has shot 70% or better from the field. He’s given up lots of season highs and several career highs in points and rebounds.

Hill and Iwuakor will both be upgrades over Brady.

I pray that Brady doesn't come back. Beyond his effort on the court is his emotions. I have never seen a more dejected Sooner, and he gets away with it! He needs therapy.

Assuming we lose Reaves, Manek, kur, Williams, ou really needs an impact transfer. Obviously would prefer an impact forward but another great guard would work.It will be especially difficult to get a starter quality forward in the portal. Those guys are going to be hot commodities and don’t be surprised if bagmen are involved.

Don’t sleep on Vic. I believe he will really blossom with more live reps. There were times this year where he was the best post player for an entire game.

great...so THIS yr he got nada...(or much) and didn't fair well. Again, in my opinion he's just really behind on actual basketball knowledge about the game. I know, he's only played 2 yrs or whatever it was. THAT is exactly my point.

So, now he has to get "live reps" during actual games to get better? Perfect...while I agree getting game experience helps the majority of players it just isn't going to help OU that we are in this situation.

Exactly, I've never understood the lovefest with Vic. I like that he plays with energy, but he is far too raw on offense to ever expect much output or contribution on that end of the floor. Some posters on here love the guy and his potential, but maybe they are seeing something that I don't. He is obviously athletic, but his skill level is extremely low and he never looks comfortable with the ball in his hands.....he is a turnover waiting to happen on offense.

Having said that, I hope that he works his tail off and becomes more comfortable within the flow of the game....but I'm not holding my breath.
