I think you can build an offense around McNeace. If I were the coach that is what I would do. Work it inside out.

Totally, what's worse is Shepherd can't create like Trae so the open shots will be harder to come by. Plus, it's a problem defensively as well.

I know Shep hasn't played a lot...but man. In less than a min or so he had 2 fouls and 1 TO basically wiping out a 6 pt lead in the first half.

I just don't see a positive in the PG next year.

I'm torn as to what will transpire next year. If (when) TY leaves, will that bring the team together? I think his success/spotlight had something to do with the troubles..

So, this "team" could go either way. The one thing is for sure. IF the talent doesn't get "better" then it'll be a SS next year.

My guess is .500 at this point.

Odomes is probably our best athlete coming back. Maybe McGusty, but I think Odomes is athletically better and a decent defensive player.

I could see Lon going with Mcnease, polla and kurath at center, manek and freeman at the 4, doo and odomes at one wing, mcgusty and cj at the other wing and a grad transfer or shep at the point.

This will be another exceptionally poor outside shooting team. So, I could see Lon try and find a wing shooter and move McGusty to point, if he can't find a better transfer point. Hopefully, if he can find a transfer the guy can shoot.

This team absolutely has to add a grad transfer PG. Without adding a competent PG this team is looking at an 0-18 in the Big XII type season.
