I'm not sure where he thinks he's going to get a better opportunity unless Sherfield is a done deal. Unless he's trying to get paid, which is understandable.

If Mo leaves, and we miss out on Sherfield, we are going to be bad next year unless we really score in the portal somehow, and it does not seem like we're in on a lot of guys.

Probably more had to do with Mo Gibson being 24 to 25 years old. I understand he may just want to move on from college. I think he may already have a masters degree. However NIL may change that.
