Transfer Portal Thread

Primo is announcing here soon. He posted 1:30 on his IG. Not sure what time zone. If it's ET, that's now. If it's CT, we have an hour.

Moser said the other night that Bamisile signed, so that's a relief. Wish Sherfield would! Man if he and the MSU big came that would be darn good, and should make people happy..

Any news on Sherfield or Marble expected to come out anytime soon?

I don’t think Hunter visits Gonzaga till next weekend, which may or may not affect the timeline for Sherfield. And it seems like Marble still has multiple visits to make.

Does the commitment of Northweather impact our chances with Marble, or does the fact that he's just a freshman render it of no concern?

Dildy has now followed a third StB portaler - Osunniyi. Not a very likely situation as he'll have a lot of options but why not try.

some B12 news

I think one very interesting question is how Moser will adapt his team/program building philosophy. He won’t have the luxury of getting guys and developing them for three or four years with the portal and NIL in their current forms. Like it or not, coaches will have to deal with much more roster turnover on an annual basis. You’ll have to work hard to re-recruit your current players, while also realizing that some will leave and require portal replacements.

On Mo's list, I agree it's definitely mediocre from our vantage point. I really don't know what Mo wants to do outside of playing PG/on-ball more. Does he want to be in Texas? Money? Just not known, to me. Probably a combo of things, obviously.

I did forget about Jareem Dowling. Former North Texas asst who's now part of Tang's staff at KSU. That would make a ton of (familiar) sense.

So, 2 of the 3 StB kids are kind of making their demands known (missed the tweet yesterday). Dildy following both (and Dom Welch) makes me wonder on how that would work at OU? Would mean Sherfield is a no-go. Probably Marble as well. Tanner to the bench? Obviously, follows don't turn into legitimate recruitments every time, but still, interesting.

They need to fix the portal and bring back the requirements to sit a year. Kids would be more likely to stay.
